What data do we collect?
For business users (partners)
We collect the following information when you create a business account:
- Company name and CVR number
- Contact person's name and email
- Phone number
- Store information (addresses, opening hours, services)
- Payment information (handled securely by QuickPay/Clearhaus)
- Login credentials (encrypted)
For private users
When you create a private account, we collect:
- Name and email
- Postal code (optional — see below)
- Login credentials (encrypted)
- Your favourite salons
- Your bookings: name, email, phone number and any message to the salon
Automatically derived postal code: The postal code is optional when you create your account. If you have not provided one, we automatically save a postal code to your profile the first time you use the location service (e.g. "Use my location" in search). The postal code is derived from your coordinates via reverse geocoding (Mapbox) and is only used to show you relevant salons nearby. You can always view, change, or delete it under account settings. For visitors
For visitors to the website, we collect:
- Statistics on how the site is used, if you accept them (see our cookie policy): a random visitor ID, the pages and stores you view, your clicks, your country and your browser language — without your IP address and without a link to your account
- IP address (for security purposes)
- Browser information
Why do we collect data?
We use your data to:
- Deliver and manage your account and store profile
- Process payments
- Communicate with you about your account
- Improve our platform
- Comply with legal requirements
Sharing of data
We only share your data with:
- QuickPay/Clearhaus: For payment processing (payment gateway and acquirer)
- Vercel: Running the website and storing images
- Neon: Our database
- Brevo: Sending emails
- Google (Gemini): The AI search and AI help to create, describe and translate store profiles
- Mapbox: Maps and address search
- Google and Facebook: Only if you choose to sign in with them
- apicvr.dk: Looking up company details from the CVR number when a business signs up
- The salon: When you book, the salon receives your booking details
- Authorities: Only when legally required
We never sell your data to third parties.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access: See what data we have about you
- Rectification: Correct inaccurate information
- Erasure: Have your data deleted
- Data portability: Receive your data
- Objection: Object to certain types of processing
- Withdrawal of consent: Withdraw your consent at any time (e.g., marketing consent)

Marketing and Consent
Double opt-in
For private users, we use a GDPR-compliant double opt-in system for marketing emails:
- After creating an account, you will receive a separate email requesting marketing consent
- You can choose to receive:

- General discount campaigns and news
- Your consent is recorded with a timestamp for documentation
Your marketing preferences
We store the following information about your marketing preferences:
- Consent status: Whether you have accepted, declined, or not yet responded
- Preferences: What types of marketing you wish to receive
- Timestamp: When you gave or withdrew your consent
Withdrawal of consent
You can withdraw your marketing consent at any time via:

Withdrawal of marketing consent does not affect your access to the platform or the validity of other data processing.
System messages
We reserve the right to send important system messages without consent, based on our legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). This includes:

Data retention
We retain your data as long as you have an active account, and for up to 5 years after account termination due to accounting legislation requirements.
- Statistics on how the site is used are deleted after 25 months
- Text we send to Google Gemini (searches and content for store profiles) is kept for up to 180 days, so we can fix errors and prevent abuse
Security
We protect your data with:
- Encryption of sensitive data
- Secure servers with access control
- Regular security updates
- Limited employee access
